Intoxicating Substance Policy
MIGO prohibits any amount of driver intoxication while a driver is logged in. This page explains the rule and reporting process.
Last updated · August 1, 2026
This policy applies to transportation services provided through 3XCLUSIVE INTL., LLC d.b.a. MIGO ("MIGO").
01
Zero-Tolerance Rule
A driver is prohibited from having any amount of intoxication while logged in to the MIGO digital network. This rule applies both while the driver is available to receive ride requests and while the driver is providing a ride.
Intoxication may result from alcohol, illegal drugs, cannabis, prescription medication, over-the-counter medication, or any other substance that impairs the driver's ability to operate safely.
02
Medication and Fitness to Drive
Drivers are responsible for understanding the effects of prescription and over-the-counter medication. A driver must not log in or remain logged in if medication or another substance could impair safe driving, judgment, coordination, alertness, or reaction time.
03
How to Report a Suspected Violation
If you believe a MIGO driver was intoxicated while logged in, submit a report at www.igomigo.com/safety/intoxicating-substance. You may submit a report without a MIGO account and without a ride number.
Include any information that may help identify the driver or ride, such as the driver's first name, license plate, vehicle description, approximate time, pickup or destination, and a description of what you observed. Contact information is optional, but providing it may help MIGO follow up.
04
Emergencies
If anyone is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical or police assistance, call 911 first. Do not use the MIGO complaint process as a substitute for emergency assistance.
05
Immediate Suspension and Investigation
When MIGO receives a passenger complaint alleging that an identifiable driver violated this policy, MIGO will investigate and will immediately suspend the driver's access to the digital network for the duration of the investigation.
Suspension during an investigation is an administrative safety measure and is not, by itself, a final finding that the driver violated this policy.
06
Investigation Outcomes
MIGO may reinstate the driver if the allegation is not substantiated and the driver otherwise remains eligible to use the platform. MIGO may permanently deactivate the driver if the allegation is substantiated or if continued access would violate law or MIGO safety requirements.
Driver investigations and appeals are also governed by the Deactivation, Investigation and Appeals Policy.
07
Records
MIGO will retain records relevant to a complaint under this policy for at least two years after receiving the complaint. Records may be retained longer when required by law, an insurance matter, a dispute, or a legal hold.
08
